We are qualified and approved by Northamptonshire County Council Highways Agency to drop kerbs which enable customers to create vehicle access/crossovers from their driveway and onto the public highway. The process is fairly straightforward, but before we can do any “kerb-dropping” you first need to apply to the council for permission to do this.

Next Steps

Once permission has been granted to yourselves, you are free to commission your chosen contractor. Northamptonshire County Council will provide you with a list of companies qualified to do this for you, including ourselves.

Whilst you’re waiting for the council to process your application, we will happily pop out to discuss your requirements, identify any technical issues, offer you our soundest advice and provide you with a comprehensive quote for your consideration.

The next step is to let us know that the council have approved you to drop your kerb and we then apply for a license to carry out these works for you. Once that has been granted – you’re good to go!
